The Legacy of E.J. Willman & Sons Plumbing

Step back in time and discover the remarkable journey of E.J. Willman & Sons Plumbing, one of the oldest, local family-owned and operated plumbing businesses in the area. For over a century, we have been at the forefront of plumbing services, leaving an indelible mark on the history of Louisville.

A Humble Beginning

Our story dates back to a time when gas lights illuminated the streets of Louisville. Recognizing the need for efficient gas piping, E.J. Willman Sr., the visionary behind our company, embarked on a mission to bring reliable gas services to the city. With dedication and unwavering commitment, E.J. Willman Sr. laid the foundation for our family-owned business, setting us on a path of enduring success.

A Champion for Progress

E.J. Willman Sr., the first generation of our legacy, went above and beyond the call of duty. He engaged with the court system and Board of Health, advocating for changes in laws to ensure the plumbing industry thrived in our area. His relentless efforts enabled our business to flourish, and we owe our longevity and prosperity to his pioneering spirit.

Surviving the Test of Time

Over the course of our rich history, E.J. Willman & Sons Plumbing has weathered countless storms. From wars to market crashes, and the Great Depression to shifting regulations, we have stood firm, adapting to the changing landscape with resilience and determination. Our enduring legacy is a testament to the perseverance and unwavering dedication of our family.
